Directly responsible for the day to day operations of this commercial general contracting firm. Employs all past experiences towards estimating, project management, and business development. Personally involved at the project management level with every client. Directs field personnel and subcontractors during construction, maintaining the project schedule and budget.

Responsible to direct the estimating department for this mid-size general contracting firm. Predominately responsible to negotiate owner and sub-contracts for construction. Coordinate all aspects of design-build through construction. Implementation of estimating software. This department supports a field staff of three project managers and eleven superintendents.

As a partner in this firm, was instrumental in the controlled growth from an annual volume of seven million to thirty million. Also provided consultation during construction to the project team.

Direct responsibility to bid and negotiate contracts for construction. Negotiate and write subcontracts and purchase orders. Coordinate consultants on design-build and negotiated contracts. Provide direction to project managers and field personnel.

Directly responsible for securing the required annual construction volume to support this mid-sized general contractor. This position requires solicitation and salesmanship to secure opportunities to competitively bid or negotiate construction contracts. Conduct quantitative analysis, prepare detailed estimates, direct subordinate staff personnel and develop the final proposal. Relationship with Parkway Development required the ability to prepare conceptual estimates for potential projects based on limited data. Contract negotiation and all purchasing was conducted and directed by me.

Directly responsible for the construction of various commercial/industrial facilities from design through as-builts. Successfully accomplished numerous design-build projects working closely with design consultants and owners to prepare construction documents, permits, bids, subcontracts submittals and direct field activities.
In addition to building construction, have controlled all aspects of the development of several industrial parks in the metropolitan area with significant sitework improvements.

Responsibilities included the preparation of payroll and accounts payable. Processed workmens compensation and insurance claims. Prepared shop drawings and coordination plans. Reviewed subcontractors requisitions and prepared change orders. Directly involved with the coordination of subcontractors work, field verification and job purchasing.

Project: Renovations, Alterations and Additions to Sinai Hospital

Inspected various water line and sewer projects. Direct supervision of the contractors progress while insuring that the work was accomplished in accordance with the contract documents.
